I saw this great aurora shot by Orvar Bergeirsson on the DP Challenge site. It was taken with a Canon 30D over Straumsvik, Iceland. Orvar goes by orvaratli on Flickr.

Orvar's Flickr site is definitely worth a look for anyone interested in night photography. There's quite a bit of great night work from Iceland. I especially like the Emergency Shelter.
